American involvment in the Philippines

The Philippine war, also commonly known as the Philippine-American war was an armed conflict fought between Filipino insurgents and American troops. The war was mainly over the independence the the Philipines wanted, and the Americans did not want to give them. The war began on February 4, 1899 and very rapidly lead to the main battle: Manila.

The Frogs Play

         The Frogs tell a story about the ancient Greek God Dionysus. The main part of the play is about him traveling to Hades to recover Eurpides back to life. Dionysus drags along his lave Xanthias who seems to be more well rounded in many ways. This sprouts and argument between the two which is the opening seen in the play.
